Distress Brief Intervention (DBI) is a free combined e-learning and group workshop training package which aims to empower workers to provide a compassionate and effective response to young mothers (aged 16-25) experiencing distress.


The module is suitable for people from a variety of different organisations and in a wide range of roles, who may respond directly to young mothers (aged 16-25) experiencing distress. The module is also available for young mothers to access themselves.
By the end of the 75-90 minute e-learning module and follow-up buzz sessions, you will have a greater understanding of distress, the skills to provide a compassionate response, and an awareness of the importance of self-care and reflection.
