New CEO to commence in March
Richmond Fellowship Queensland is delighted to announce the appointment of Kathi Boorman as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective Monday 23 March 2026. Joining us from Sydney, Kathi brings extensive executive experience across the mental health and community services. Kathi served as CEO for One Door Mental Health. Following a Mind Australia-One Door merger, Mind Australia appointed Kathi as their Executive Director One Door and Group Transformation.
Kathi is a values‑driven leader with a strong passion for people and purpose, bringing over 30 years’ experience across mental health and community services. Her career is marked by a strong track record in strategic leadership, service innovation and organisational growth, underpinned by a deep commitment to recovery‑oriented practice and community inclusion.
Reflecting on her appointment, Kathi said, “RFQ has an outstanding reputation for person‑centred and inclusive support. I’m honoured to join this dedicated team and to work with our partners, people and communities to build on that legacy and create even greater opportunities for wellbeing.
