Housing Support
The Housing Support program supports people at risk of homelessness with their housing and accommodation needs.
About the program
The program is a recovery support service for people living in boarding houses, hostels or crisis accommodation who are referred by the Mental Health Service.
Supports are provided at a high intensity for three months and a low intensity for a further period up to nine months if required.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this service, you need to be:
An adult
(aged 18 years and over)
Referred by the Mental Health Service
Living in a boarding house, hostel or crisis accommodation*
Not receiving support through the NDIS**
*Individuals who are “rough sleepers” are out of scope for this program.
** Individuals may be assisted to make an NDIS access request during the period of support.
Access
This service is accessed through a Mental Health Service referral.
