RFQ is led by a voluntary Board of Directors who bring diverse experience across finance, health, law, business, academia and community services. Many of our Board members also bring lived experience as mental health consumers or carers, ensuring our leadership is informed by real insight and empathy.

Chris is Chair of Richmond Fellowship Queensland and Head of Recruitment at executive search and leadership advisory firm OnTalent. An accomplished Chief Executive, board leader, and executive people and culture strategist, he brings more than 20 years’ experience across health, mental health, community services, and government sectors.
Chris is recognised for leading growth, organisational transformation, and governance renewal, with particular expertise in helping purpose-driven organisations evolve into sustainable profit-for-purpose models that strengthen impact and long-term community outcomes. Having commenced an earlier chapter of his career with RFQ, Chris combines a deep understanding of the organisation’s heritage with a contemporary perspective on governance, leadership, and sector reform.
In addition to serving as Chair of RFQ, Chris is currently the Independent Chair of Neurological Alliance Queensland. His former Non-Executive Director and Board leadership appointments include Epilepsy Australia, Foodbank Queensland, True Relationships & Reproductive Health, The Alive Project Ltd and former Vice Chair of the Western Pacific Regional Executive Committee of the International Bureau for Epilepsy, reflecting a longstanding commitment to community wellbeing, advocacy, and sector leadership.

Chris is the Head of Not-for-Profit and Government practice at boutique talent advisory firm OnTalent. He is an accomplished Chief Executive and Executive HR Leader with over 20 years experience in the health and human services sector, including 4 years as Business Support Manager for RFQ in his early career. His leadership specialties are in growth, transformation and change, and transitioning the traditional NFP model to profit-for-purpose. He also serves as Non-Executive Director, and Chair (People & Culture Committee) for both Foodbank Queensland and True Relationships and Reproductive Health. A former Non-Executive Director of Epilepsy Australia Ltd and Vice Chair of the Western Pacific Regional Executive Committee of the International Bureau for Epilepsy.

Rhonda is a former partner of a large Australian law firm practising in the area of commercial and corporate financing. She has over 30 years’ experience representing corporate clients and financial institutions in relation to financing transactions, debt restructuring and associated governance issues.
Rhonda has also taught university law undergraduate and masters level programs, and holds bachelor degrees in Arts and Law from the University of Queensland and a Masters in Law from the Australian National University.

Kathi began her career as a Social Worker more than 30 years ago, specialising in supporting individuals with severe and complex mental illnesses. Her leadership experience spans government and community-managed mental health services, with six years serving as CEO at One Door Mental Health.
Kathi has a strong track record in designing innovative, evidence-informed programs and leading complex organisational transformation projects that improve outcomes for clients and their families. Kathi’s background in Social Work informs her holistic, person-centred, and recovery-focused approach to delivering mental health services.
She is a Board member of Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia (PANDA) and Autism Australia (Aspect), contributing her systems reform and governance expertise at a national level.
